            The final examination will consist of a single essay question explaining the strengths and weaknesses of The Lexus and the Olive Tree as an explanation of the major challenges facing the leaders of the United States since the 9/11 attacks and Thomas Friedman's prescriptions for meeting those challenges.   A required course evaluation will be due on the day of the exam.
